Congratulations to Sheila Michael, the 1st prize winner of our Country Christmas Decorating Contest! Sheila won a $20 gift certificate from pictures she shared of her living and dining areas. We loved her cozy cottage style, which is inviting yet not overdone. We especially liked the clever winter sports vignette she created in the living room. She paired rustic and new elements seamlessly, and created a vignette that is well balanced and has good visual movement.

The entries were all so unique and pretty, it was difficult to choose just one winner! So, we decided to award $10 gift certificates to two other entrants. Second place went to Kim Conley, whose kitchen displays caught our eye. She did a lovely job of decorating an often forgotten space above the cabinets, and her old ladder pot rack is a really cute idea. Kim also created a fun red and white themed vignette on an entryway bench. Sandy Paseka came in third place with her pretty primitive style living room, which has a lightness to it that is refreshing.
